Fanfiction Recommendation : Hetalia

Hello~

Now I myself am a writer of fanfiction. Yet, I do not write good. Sigh. However, I have found certain fanfictions that I think are really great, some exceptional. Like, out-of-this-world exceptional. I frequent fanfiction.net (I write there too. Maybe you might spot me!) and quizilla. Some of the fanfics I recommend might contain swearing or whatnot, but I'll give you a warning somewhere.

Anyway, a fanfiction I thought I have enjoyed a lot was this:

http://quizilla.teennick.com/stories/18206895/ei-o1

It's called Fashion Police, starring Belgium, Spain, Romano, Netherlands and [Name]! A cameo here and there though. Ahh... Yes, this is a Spain/Romano/Netherlands X Reader fanfiction!

It's about how Belgium, Spain, Romano and Netherlands open a boutique in Barcelona, Spain.  [Name] is Belgium's friend from college, and Belgium wants [Name] to help out at her boutique in exchange for Belgium letting [Name] bunk with her, free-of-charge. After Belgium somehow convinced her, [Name] now faces Antonio, the attractive flirt, Hendrik, her impassive ex-crush and Lovino, the ultimate tsundere (I like Lovino as a Tsundere, don't you?) Not to mention Bella!

I honestly enjoyed this story. Perhaps how it's set at Barcelona gives this very relaxing set. The characters are realistic and three-dimensional, and that's always refreshing. As you can tell from above, the author usually calls them by their human names. The author also doesn't update particularly often, so sometimes I feel quite sad. She also gives other characters in Hetalia memorable cameos too! Belarus is a famous super-model with an attitude, England is the easily-annoyed neighbour and so on, so forth

Ahh...

The story has yet to end! So I look forward to what will come next! Hopefully, you will too.

#Note: The author has yet to update the scroll-down list on the story itself, but to read all ten chapters, click on the author's name, which will bring you to her homepage. You will see "View all of Nietono-no-Shana's stuff". Right, click on that, then press "Fashion Police || Hetalia". All ten chappies should be there. You are free to check out her other "stuff" too, like her WWYFFs [Who-Would-You-Fall-For-s]

Welcome to the World of Manga and Anime

I see not the need for this, however, as I am well-educated in the way of formality, I shall start this blog with - first - a declaration.

Okay, so I love manga and anime. I am obsessed. I love it. I love shounen, shoujo, tsunderes, yanderes, bishounen, bishoujo, etc.

However, I am not that into hentai. Ecchi is acceptable! Although, mind you, I have nothing against hentai authors or people into hentai. I think how they spend so much time drawing e-v-e-r-y single detail is very admirable! Of course, I read doujins and fanfics too.

On this blog of mine, I will be giving recommendations to manga, live-action, anime, etc. So, in order to let you have a feel of what kind of graphics and plots I prefer, this is my CURRENT list of rankings. (First only, unfortunately, to avoid bias ^^)

Graphically-wise:

based on manga only

1) Death Note

Good range (it's a very broad category):

-Toradora
-Naruto
-Black Butler
-Kimi Ni Todoke
-Ouran High School Host Club
-Special A
-Shugo Chara
-Shugo Chara Encore
-Gakuen Alice
-Bokura Ga Ita
-Lovely Complex
-Kaichou Wa Maid-sama
-Faster Than A Kiss
-The World God Only Knows
-Hetalia: Axis Powers
-Fruits Basket
-La Corda D'oro
-Aishteruze Baby

The "meh" range:

-Vampire Knight (Yes, the graphics in the anime were pretty good, but in the manga, foreheads too wide... Body too skinny, unrealistic... It's very meh. Though in my opinion, her art did improve over time ^^)
-Hana Kimi (I am personally, a fan of classy gender-benders, but basing on solely the art, it does not go up par)
-Hana Yori Dango (First, off, I know some like this kind of style, now, I have nothing against it, I know that was the style back then, and I adore the plot, BUT, just not my cup o' tea)
-Itazura Na Kiss (Art not my cup of tea. Nuff said)
-Yumeiro Pattisiere (Corny... big... googly... eyes... NUUUU! I'm sorry, not a big fan)
-Perfect Girl Evolution/ The Wallflower

Now, I haven't listed all the manga, just the ones I remember. You see, I don't have a particularly good memory...

Plot-wise

(manga ONLY)

There is no winner for this category, for I read broadly.

Excellent:

-Kimi Ni Todoke
-Naruto
-Death Note
-Lovely Complex

Very Good:

-Gakuen Alice

-Ouran High School Host Club (fan of gender-benders that have good plot and great art~)
-Black Butler
-Hana Yori Dango (I think this is what made the modern ones corny~)
-Bokura Ga Ita
-Fruits Basket

Good (still is a broad range):

-Perfect Girl Evolution (also known as 'The Wallflower'. Nowadays, everything is pretty much fillers. though)
-Vampire Knight
-Itazura Na Kiss (So corny, but I guess that's why it's cute!)
-Hana Kimi (I think the reason why she went there was ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous, but the progression afterwards was way logical)
-Special A (corny as hell, but kyute!)
-Shugo Chara (Oh-ho~! The manga was much better than the anime in my opinion! The anime just dragged on and on... B-O-R-I-N-G. The manga was really cute, and I loved Ikuto! So kewl~)
-Shugo Chara Encore (KYAAAAA)
-Faster Than A Kiss
-Kaichou Wa Maid-sama
-Yumeiro Pattisiere
-Toradora
-The World God Only Knows
-La Corda D'oro
-Aishteruze Baby

No Plot:

-Hetalia: Axis Powers! (Well, there's some sort of background-story-plot-thing going on, and it's funny as heck! But it's those kind of four-panels, which I have nothing against, so it wouldn't be fair to categorise it...)

Worst:

-PWPs (aka, most hentai - well, I wouldn't know if ALL of them were like that...)

Of course, I would be over-the-moon to hear your comments to my list. Anything you feel is missing? Anything you feel has been wrongly categorised? Feel free to leave a comment!

Oh, and before I forget:
